Emily Livingston Stout (she/her) “Liv” is tattoo and interdisciplinary fine artist. She grew up along the upper-portion of the Mississippi River in Rock Island, Illinois and received her BFA in Printmaking from The Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in 2006. Since leaving the Midwest, she predominantly lived and produced work in Seattle and went on to pursue her MFA in Interdisciplinary Studio Art where she focused her masters work on Temporary Installation in Public Space at The Memphis College of Art and Design in 2011.

Her drawing work has been published in New American Paintings and has been funded by Artist Trust’s Grants for Artist Projects.  She moved to the Bay Area in 2018 and currently lives and produces drawing, film, and audio-based work from her home studio in an old school house in Mendocino County.

She is currently taking tattoo clients.
